BlueSoleil 5 and 6 require a different SDK (method of application integration) than BlueSoleil 1 and 2. The SDK for 5 and 6 was released a couple of months ago, and I haven't had a chance to work with it yet, unfortunately.

It is not absolutely certain that the new SDK can do what we need it to do, but I will make sure to have a look.

Best.

Phone/Mac issues :: Windows Mobile - Power stays on when Salling is active

I've read the FAQs, and found only the reverse of my issue.

When Salling is active and connected, the mobile phone remains on and active - it never sends the display to powersave mode. It behaves as if the device is still active when its in range. This happens any time the WM device is already active due to a keypress or a reminder, SMS, etc. Salling won't cause the WM device to "wake up", but it will prevent it from going back to sleep.

I know its not a Bluetooth level issue. I've turned Salling off and left everything else the same, and the problem does not recur.

I'm hoping that there's a setting I can change. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Environment:
Salling Clicker (current rev 3.5.0 [512]) on Mac 10.5.3 or Windows machines.
Clicker app (3.5.0 [v837]) on Windows Mobile 5 and WM 6, on an HTC 8125 or HTC 8525.

Cheers!

I'm making a bit more of an advanced keyboard/mouse script and on to making an alt+tabber. The plan was to break into tabbing mode when I hit a button on the phone...

Code:

SendVirtualKeyDown(0x12); //Alt
SendVirtualKeyDown(0x09); //Tab

The problem with this is once tab gets hit, alt will be released. Basically what I wanted to do was

Alt Down
Tab Down
Tab Up
Set tabbing mode to true

Then when we're in tabbing mode, the arrow keys will instead do an additional tab, or a shift+tab for left and right to cycle between running applications. This is one of the very few things I've found that I can't seem to accomplish because my alt gets depressed when I send any other keystroke, even when doing the SendVirtualKeystroke with the alt modifier, it'll drop the alt first then send another one, effectively allowing me to alt+tab between only 2 applications at a time. If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Solved! Making great progress now, the problem was that I was handling key down, not key up, with that event the tab and alts are sticking great! In case anyone else comes along this problem, that's your solution!

Salling Clicker for Windows :: RE: Cannot get Salling on N95 to find computer

Thanks for that. TCP/IP connections are enabled in Clicker on the PC.

I seem to have sorted out my issues with the home network. My 3 PCs are now able to share documents and can print to a networked printer. This includes my laptop which is connected wirelessly and working fine through the router to the cabled network PCs.

Clicker on my N95 connects to my wireless network and NOW it finds my desktop PC. But when I click 'connect' it fails after a few seconds saying 'No response from host. Please check firewall on the target computer'.

I have tried it with my firewall (ZoneAlarm) shutdown and Windows Firewall is also off but I still get the same message.

So I'm edging nearer - are you able to push me over the finishing line?!

Regards

Salling Clicker for Mac :: Connect from computer to phone automatically

Hi there

First off, Salling Clicker is great! A software I couldn't live without.

Now, i'm wondering one thing and one thing only. Is it possible to let Salling Clicker (from a computer) connect to a phone at a scheduled time automatically? I've been looking all over this forum and the web and for the life of me, i can't find anything. I just can't believe i'm the only one with such a request.

The reason i want this is as follows. I have ProximitySync installed which syncs my computer and phone once a day WHEN THE PHONE IS CONNECTED. But i don't want it to be connected all the time when i'm in range of my computer because that way, my phones battery drains pretty fast. So i'm never connected and have to do so manually if i want to initiate a sync. Now, if there would be a way to automatically do this once a day, usually when i'm at home and in range of my computer, ProximitySync would take care of the rest and i wouldn't have to remember doing it myself all the time.

Possible? Did anybody already wrote a script a could use for this?

Thanks for any help

Salling Clicker for Mac :: RE: LG Viewty KG990 not officially supported but works on a mac

Similar problem here.

I have an LG "Viewty" KU-990, sold by Optus (Australia) but unlocked and used on the Vodafone network.

There are 2 issues:

1) The Versign and/or Thawte-signed JAD files will *not* install from wap.salling.com - I assume this is because the LG does not accept the certificates?

2) The "other" versions of the Java client (whether from the wap site or via the Mac application) all install OK, and detect an "LG" platform. They also correctly search and locate my MacBook Pro via Bluetooth, *but* they generate the Java security exception when I try to connect (same as the previous contributor).

Any thoughts/suggestions much appreciated.

I'm not at all familiar with the router you have there, but it appears to me that your problem is likely due to the wifi-router somehow isolating your wired network from the wireless network.

Also, please make sure "Enable TCP/IP Connections" is enabled in the Salling Clicker Settings.

Best.
